Be Merciful Lord,
To the faint of heart, and the broken-hearted
Those who have given up on hope.
The worn-out weary,
Who have lost their way.

Be Merciful Lord, to those who have followed you hard,
Have given their all,
Who are spent;
With no more to give.

For those who sit in jail,
The lonely
forgotten,
yet, known only by you.
The young with no advocate.
The single parent, struggling to make ends meet.

Be Merciful Lord, to those trapped in addictions,
Who long for a way out,
For the homeless,
Those without family or friends.

Turn, Oh Lord and deliver them,

Save them because of your
Unfailing Love.
